But I think once they are in school, every other year I will let them have a party with a few friends. We usually just have a low key family day or just invite grandparents over. In fact this was Lula’s first “friend” party. We will not be doing a big themed party like this one every year for our girls. I also am kicking myself for not taking any photos of our craft! I bought different plain white tea cups at the thrift store and the girls decorated them with paint Sharpies and then I sent home instructions for the parent to bake the tea cup. I found lots of different examples of these on Pinterest, so this was definitely not my idea but they turned out so cute!! I found the tiny paper cups at Dollar Tree and put pink goldfish in them.Īnd I made these tea bag sugar cookies dipped in a glaze. We kept the food super simple with just a few little things I found the little wooden spoons at Marshalls and just had to get them.
I used some vintage tablecloths from my mom as well as 2 different vintage tea sets.
I also wanted to share some photos from the rest of the party. We had dress up clothes and a big frame for props. They folded in half over a piece of twine and then I just glued them shut with a glue stick. I made a garland out of bright colored doilies.
